John D. Pierce papers
John Harold Goodsman collection
The John Harold Goodsman collection contains several letterman sweaters and blanket that belonged to Goodsman while he attended Michigan State Normal College (MSNC) from 1935-39. Goodsman, nicknamed "Red" by his team, lettered in tennis and band. He played tennis for three of his four years attending the school. He was captain of the tennis team for two of his three years participating. Goodsman graduated from MSNC in 1939.
John M. Munson papers
John M. Munson was the thirteenth president of Michigan State Normal College, serving from 1933 through 1948. The John M. Munson papers include both personal materials, as well as files from the Office of the President, from approximately 1904 through 1950.
John Mahelm Berry Sill reference collection
The John Mahelm Berry Sill reference collection document the eighth president of Michigan State Normal College, who served from 1886 to 1893. His papers consist of such materials as researcher biographies, press clippings, CVs, handwritten speeches, and memorials and obituaries.
John S. Elwell papers
John S. Elwell was a faculty member of the Department of Music at Eastern Michigan University from 1948 to 1975. His papers consist of correspondence, clippings, programs from musical events, and a large collection of sheet music which Elwell accumulated.
Joseph Estabrook reference collection
The Joseph Estabrook reference collection document the fourth president of Michigan State Normal College, who served from 1871-1880. His papers include such materials as press clippings, researcher biographies, obituaries, and a bound draft of Estabrook's history of MSNC.
Julia Anne King papers
Miss Julia Anne King was a professor of History at Michigan State Normal College, and served as the College Preceptress from 1881 through 1919. Her papers include primarily hand-written manuscripts from her papers and lectures.

The Kappa Phi Alpha Fraternity collection documents the activities of the local fraternity founded in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1902. The collection, which documents the social Greek Letter Society, is arranged alphabetically and contains administrative history of the organization, composites, pulicity and outreach as well as an extensive collection of realia from the 1960s.
